DJI Mavic 3 / Mavic 3 Cine on Lufthansa

The standard Intelligent Flight Battery is 77 Wh — under the common 100 Wh threshold. This page combines the model battery facts with the current Lufthansa rule set.

What matters for this exact combination

Lufthansa lists drones as portable electronic devices. Devices up to 100 Wh are permitted in cabin baggage and may be checked under conditions, though cabin carriage is recommended. Spare lithium batteries must follow separate carry-on rules.

Lufthansa note: Lufthansa publishes an overall loose/spare-battery total of 20 that includes power banks. Up to two power banks are allowed; power banks above 100 Wh and up to 160 Wh require airline transport approval. Power banks must stay accessible, out of the overhead compartment, and may not be used or charged onboard.

Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine use the official 77 Wh Intelligent Flight Battery.

Before you pack

  • Count every loose/spare drone battery, not only the standard pack.
  • Keep spare lithium batteries protected against short circuit and in cabin baggage.
  • Add power banks separately because 2026 rules can be stricter than ordinary spare-battery limits.
  • If your itinerary has a connection, check every operating carrier — the stricter segment can control the practical result.
